Kevin’s motivation for creating Waterbrook began when he searched for the ideal retirement for his parents and was unable to find it. Frustrated by a lack of high-quality accommodation options, he decided to create it for them, leading to the development of the award-winning Waterbrook Yowie Bay in 2001. Over 18 years, Kevin has evolved the Waterbrook brand to be a name that is synonymous for its luxury and Resident care. He remains as passionate as ever about creating inspired living for retirees, with his primary focus at Waterbrook being to ensure our Residents remain our number one priority.

Liane Dobler
Head of Operations
Liane possesses a wealth of hospitality and the journey of the customer experience. Her strong mix of skills and knowledge began with her induction with Hyatt Hotels, which she later cultivated in her family’s 5-star luxury country retreat hotels in regional NSW.
Liane initially entered boutique retirement in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, which was a stepping stone into Waterbrook, where she has managed the operations of the group since 2007.
Liane is committed to ensuring that the Resident experience exceeds all expectation across every facet delivered by Waterbrook. Her curiosity and passion for all things of natural beauty is evidenced in every Waterbrook Resort.

Lizzie Norman
Head of Sales & Community Relations
Born and bred in the Highlands, Lizzie has spent over two decades working in customer experience roles and many years owning and operating her own boutique bookstore locally. What Lizzie doesn’t know about the Highlands isn’t worth knowing! Lizzie’s strong customer service focus and her warmth made her the perfect choice to join our Bowral Team in 2019.
Lizzie’s role ensures our Residents experience a seamless transition when joining our Waterbrook Bowral community. From the first introduction, Lizzie provides an immediate connection between Residents and our Waterbrook team, ensuring each individual want and need is met. Lizzie will also act as the intermediary between fellow Residents and the wider community.
